The Benny Hill Theme + Any Car Chase = Instant Good Times

“Yakety Sax” had a life before being inextricably tied to Benny Hill for all eternity. The pop/jazz instrumental was originally released by “Boots” Randolph in 1958 as a riff off The Coasters classic “Yakety Yak.” But it was only after being re-released in 1963 that it became a hit…and after being used as “antics” music on “The Benny Hill Show” that it became a legend.

It also, apparently, is a great musical backdrop for car chases, riots, and mind-boggling tragedies—though we will only show some selected car chases here. Strap in and enjoy!
