Two days after Stan Lee’s manager Keya Morgan was arrested on suspicion of filing a false police report, Stan the Man himself has filed a restraining order against Morgan.
As this comes about 4 days after Lee appeared on a video posted to Twitter claiming that Morgan was his sole representative…it feels like there’s probably a bigger story here. And the fact that the restraining order case was filed under “Elder/Dependent Adult Abuse Prevention” only sort of increases that suspicion.
“This is a witchhunt by his daughter and her lawyer against me because she cannot stand the fact Stan likes me so much. I will 100% prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations against me are false. And I will definitely take legal action against anyone who is making up these lies. The truth will come out.”
As I’ve written in this post, there are a number of concerns regarding who is around Lee. Last week gunmen allegedly confronted him at his LA home. Before that, a number of exposes have been written bringing up the specter of elder abuse.
There have even been questions surrounding Lee’s daughter J.C.—who he is apparently “aligned” with now—and her associates.
Which is why I feel Lee would really need to be away from everyone he currently knows to really set his life in order. Given his advanced age and poor health, though…is that really possible? In the end, when you’re feeling so vulnerable, you want to be around people you are familiar with.
And so the story continues.
