Folks, at this point is it possible to just get Stan Lee to a safe location?
His story over the last couple of years is getting so bizarre, so messy…only last week was there a report of *gunmen* threatening him in/around his LA home. Before that were troubling pieces in both The Hollywood Reporter and The Daily Beast, suggesting that he was being exploited and even in danger of elder abuse.
The latest news is that Lee’s business manager, Keya Morgan, has been arrested on suspicion of filing a false police report. The charges, said THR, might have something to do with that “gunmen” story last week.
Morgan was one of the focuses of THR’s earlier investigative article on Lee. Two days ago, Lee posted (“Lee” posted) a video on Twitter affirming that:
My only partner and business manager is
@KeyaMorgan not all the other people making false claims.
This is not the first video of this type a shaky Lee has made defending people like Morgan and his daughter J.C….and they are incredibly uncomfortable to watch.
That said, I have no idea if Morgan, J.C., or anybody else around him is doing any malfeasance of any kind. I’m just saying: it looks like Lee’s life is spinning out of control.
The 95-year-old Lee—whose health is rumored to be very poor—has tons of powerful fans in powerful places. Certainly, somebody could help out???
Folks, this is all going to end in some nasty, ambiguous, “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” way if somebody doesn’t step in. My “spidey sense” told me so.
