Seems like Sean Penn is not the only actor maintaining author pseudonyms. Esquire recently revealed that “up-and-coming” young screenwriter Otis Lort, who write a screenplay for a biopic about Shia LaBeouf, is none other than…Shia LaBeouf.
In other news…there is apparently going to be a biopic about Shia LaBeouf.
Oscar-nominated Lucas Hedges will be playing a young version of non-Oscar-nominated LaBeouf in the movie, called Honey Boy. To be clear, that is Hedges playing an Even Stevens-era LaBeouf, if that is the sort of thing you may find of interest.
The movie’s official description is as follows:
“A child actor and his law-breaking, alcohol-abusing father attempt to mend their contentious relationship over the course of a decade.”
In a bit of a coincidence, Sean Penn’s new book, originally written under the pseudonym Pappy Pariah, also has the word “honey” in it—Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff.
What is this fascination actors like LaBeouf and Penn have for the word “honey?” And is the world ready for a biopic about Shia LaBeouf?
So many questions…
