The “Simpsons Code” Strikes Again As They Predict USA Curling Olympics Win

Just another reminder that the long-running sitcom The Simpsons is our modern Nostradamus, as once again it has predicted a real-world event that has come true.

In the 2010 episode “Boy Meets Curl,” Homer and Marge Simpson, plus the Skinners, win the gold metal at the Olympics for curling—something the U.S. men’s team just did unexpectedly last Saturday at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

In both cases, the American team beat Sweden to get the gold!

COINCIDENCE?! Or further proof of the incredible prophetic power of Matt Groening’s cryptic creation?

I’ll be honest with you, folks…as far as “Simpsons Code” instances, this isn’t the most spectacular example I’ve ever seen. I mean…the American team was going to win some time…and Sweden and curling go way back. Maybe the “underdog” factor of the American team this year, resonating with Homer’s dogged optimism?

Better than that shitty Ted Cruz analogy.
