Send A Thank-You To Peter Capaldi For A “Doctor” Well-Done

BBC America is offering Doctor Who fans a chance to thank actor Peter Capaldi personally for his work as the Twelfth Doctor. They have put a call out for short, 10-second videos featuring Whovians giving special messages to Capaldi, which will be edited into one big video.

Capaldi was cast as the 12th incarnation of the Doctor in 2013, though he also appeared as Lobus Caecilius 2008 episode “The Fires of Pompeii,” as well as John Frobisher in the 2009 Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood: Children of Earth. He was also a big fan of Doctor Who as a kid, so you could say the actor was sort of destined for the role.

The tenth season of the current Doctor Who series will be his last, and actress Jodie Whittaker will be taking up the Doctor mantle.

You can follow this link for instructions on how to send your video (or drawing/photo/etc.) to BBC America for the Capaldi tribute; submissions due September 6 at noon.
